How to play
- Choose a card. Start with what your child needs today, or a discovery that interests them.
- Try one small activity. Look at the picture, read the short instructions together, and choose one thing to try. Your child can watch, join in or pause.
- Explore at your own pace. Try another friend, open the binder or colour a picture. Stamps, stars and earned cards are optional extras.

In the app
- Spin and flip: each card with a finger, tap it for sparkles, and press Breathe for three slow breaths with it.
- Breatho & Friends Collection: your cards in a book to page through. Each new card is revealed the first time it’s opened.
- Find a card: type an everyday word, like dentist or haircut, to find the card for the moment.
- Bedtime: pick tonight’s card, take slow breaths together and say goodnight. In the evening, the book then sleeps until morning.
- Screen time: a grown-up can set the book to close after 10, 20 or 30 minutes of use in a day. It stays closed until a grown-up opens it again.
- No account, no ads: nothing about your child leaves your device.
- The rest of the book: the cards this set doesn’t include show in it as shadows.
How you get it
- After checkout, copy the licence key from your Polar purchase page (the link is in Polar’s order email).
- Open calmfamilyprintables.com/app on your phone or iPad. On an iPhone or iPad, add it to your Home Screen first (the page shows you how).
- Paste the key there. Breatho & Friends opens in your browser: you won’t find it in an app store.

Is there a Breatho & Friends app?
Yes. Open calmfamilyprintables.com/app on your phone or iPad: ten cards are free there, with nothing to buy and no signup. Starter app access includes 71 cards and play tools and the Wonderbolt Collection (and the Complete + All 6 Workbooks bundle) unlocks every card: after you buy, paste the licence key from your Polar purchase page (the link is in Polar’s order email). One key works on up to 5 devices. Add it to your Home Screen and the cards you’ve opened or saved work offline. It runs in your browser, so there’s nothing else to install. The printable PDFs stay on your Polar purchase page.
What do I download?
Two ZIP files. The Digital Pack has every card as a picture, a card viewer that works offline, and the parent guide. The Printable Pack has the A4 and US Letter PDFs and the parent guide. The Start-here sheet, with the nine cards to print first, as A4 and US Letter PDFs. The Breatho & Friends app isn’t a download: it opens at calmfamilyprintables.com/app with your licence key (see “Is there a Breatho & Friends app?” above).

Which currency do I pay in?
Prices show in Australian dollars in Australia, New Zealand dollars in New Zealand, pounds in the UK, Canadian dollars in Canada and euros in most of the euro area, and in US dollars in most other countries. Checkout is by Polar, our payment partner. In the US, Canada and India, any tax that applies is added at checkout. Everywhere else, prices include any GST or VAT that applies.
How do I print them?
Print at 100% or “Actual size”, double-sided and flipped on the long edge, so every card gets the Breatho & Friends back. Each card is 88 mm (3.5 in) tall. The last page is the Tamed! seal sheet.
Can I print more than one copy?
Yes, print as many as you need, across siblings and years.
What about earned cards?
Your child earns special cards with their first name on them by reaching brave milestones. They’re free: see how to claim one.
Are Breatho & Friends calm-down cards?
Yes. Each friend card is a calm-down card, also called a coping skills card: one calming move, like a big slow breath, with a one-line instruction. The Wobble cards are the tricky moments to use them for. Nine calm-down cards are free, and What are Breatho & Friends? has all the facts.
Breatho & Friends cards are educational tools, not therapy or medical advice. Every child is different, so use the cards in whatever way works, alongside the doctors, therapists and teachers who know them.
